yeah, but it's about impossible to cast the runes incorrectly when you cast them in the order that's on the screen, they light up in the correct order, and give the correct sound  |

tried precasting magic missile, fireball, and lightning bolt. it just makes the standard fizzle sound and no spell is saved or cast.
guess I should just start a new game without using that chicken ... |

don't remember my exact casting skill, but I'm able to cast any level of spell now  from what I can tell, it's only the direct attack spells that I can't cast - lightning bolt, fireball, magic missi ... |
