Hmmm...haven't had that happen to me yet since I've installed the patch (I think it was last week?).
Have you tried uninstalling your mouse, then letting windows detect and re-install it? Not sure if ... |

I've also noticed more crashing post-patch. For me the crash can usually occur in two situations:
1) sometimes when I quick load
2) sometimes when I'm getting attacked by a bunch of baddies.
