Ireun Eyewise was a minotaur and knight of the city of Byra during the Age of Shadows. He won his title by defeating a claw fiend that had been tearing apart the city's farmland (and farmers), but declined any reward for the deed beyond the largely ceremonial knighthood that Byra's leaders bestowed upon him. Nevertheless, he took his duties seriously, and defended the city vigorously from numerous petty threats that arose during the tumultuous era.
