Today Flying Lab gave us a chance to fight in some battles, and we got a much better sense of how deep the combat system can become. As you'd guess, sailing is hardly like running an orc around a field -- even with simple A, W, S, D controls, you're maneuvering a huge ship and relying on wind for motion. Each ship -- and the game offers plenty of them -- takes wind differently, meaning you'll need to balance your course with which heading gives you forward speed. That already complicates battles: you won't want to simply swing around on an enemy if that leaves you facing a gale.
