RPGDot Game Rating Machine

Todd Brakke has rated the following games:

Elder Scrolls 2 - Daggerfall: 7/10 points

A great game on paper, didn't work as well in practice. Fully patched, it was a good game, but Bethesda bit off a bit more than they could chew.

Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 9/10 points

Bugs and other problems left it with room for improvement, but was still one of the most innovative games of its time. (How many games allow you to talk your way past the ultimate foozle?) Still one of the few RPGs that really let you role play.

Fallout 2: 9/10 points

In a lot of ways this game was even better than the original. However, many horrible bugs marred a lot of the experience. (I recall playing chess against myself while waiting during the save/load process just to have something to do - prior to the patch.)

Return to Krondor: 5/10 points

Didn't live up to Betrayal or the other RPGs of its time.

Wasteland: 10/10 points

Put in its proper perspective, there were few that could touch this title. Is among the few that could not (within reason) have been much better (for its time). Maybe a little difficult without the hint guide, but even that was well done. I read the guide a couple of times just to experience the story again.
