Dungeons and Dragons Online Lead Designer Ken Troop provides commentary on a series of three videos showcasing Turbine's forthcoming game.
January 11, 2006 - One of the more interesting MMORPGs slated for release in 2006 is the first of the genre set in a Dungeons & Dragons universe. Creating a computer version of a cherished tabletop game is pretty tricky as is, creating one for a massively multiplayer environment is even trickier. To get the job done, Wizards of the Coast and Atari sought out the help of the veteran MMO designers at Turbine.

What we've seen of the game so far is certainly very intriguing and we wanted to make sure to share as much of it with you as possible. To that end, we had the chance to corner Lead Designer Ken Troop and get him to provide some commentary over footage captured from the game.

Each of the videos encompasses different elements of the game for around 25 minutes of footage total. Therefore we thought it would be best to split them into three different videos but we certainly recommend grabbing all of them in succession.. You'll see everything from general thoughts about the world of Eberron to how the team dynamic can affect quests and combat.
