In the summer of 1492, Christopher Columbus set sail in search of adventure. It was a long trip, and fraught with peril, but then he and his ships entered the warm blue waters of the Caribbean. A whole new world opened up that day, and the battle for dominance was launched.

For the last few months, we’ve been on a voyage of our own. Recently, we took a look at how Pirates of the Burning Sea was shaping up and then reviewed the list of features suggested by our staff and by our fans on the official site forum. Many of these features were great ideas, concepts that we had discussed at length both privately and in public, but they hadn’t made the cut for the initial release.
