 Mutant Chronicles Online RPG takes the original Mutant Chronicles paper role-playing game into the virtual reality. Players will be able to choose from 40 different customizable characters (with male-female versions, which doubles the number) with full access to the entire armoury known to MC RPG players.
Mutant Chronicles takes place in a dark future where man has abandoned Earth in favour of the other planets in the solar system. Almost 1500 years have gone by since the Exodus and the fighting is more fierce than ever, Megacorporation battling Megacorporation over the scarce natural recourses still existing in the colonized areas of the planets. In addition, mankind is battling the menace of the Dark Legion for the survival of the species and everywhere is the threat of betrayal.
The stories and characters of Mutant Chronicles has spawned a wide range of Hobby games translated and marketed in 18 different countries. This includes Role Playing and miniatures games with hundreds of different metal miniatures. A fully painted graphic novel and Nintendo and Sega games was launched successfully and will be followed up with new material. A collectible card game tbased on the universe was introduced in 18 countries and has sold in excess of 170 million cards. Several books featuring several award winning sci-fi authors have been published and a launch of new publishing and interactive product will follow in 2003. War without End. Amen. |
