A new dev diary from David Eckleberry can be found at the official D&DO site titled The Anatomy of a Design Decision and describing the decision to deviate from the standard spell allocation in PnP D&D:For the last several months, designers here at Turbine have been wrestling with a sticky problem, and today I want to take the time to give you an update on a decision we’ve made. Just as important, I want to tell you about how we reached the decision.
As more and more of Dungeons & Dragons Online becomes “ready-to-play,” we’re spending more of our play time running through dungeons the way the game is meant to be played. This means no cheating by using admin commands like “immortal” and “spell god.” |
