Description: |
MV3D is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG). It will feature not one, but several vast online worlds for players to explore.
The game will be full 3d with switchable first and third person views. It will have a persistent world in that if you drop a Sword of Ogre Killing on the ground in the tavern, it will still be there next time you come back unless another player (or NPC) takes it.
MV3D will incorporate more then one setting into the game. This will allow worlds with a fantasy setting to co-exist with other worlds which have a futuristic or present day setting. The worlds are completely dynamic and can be changed at any time while the game is running, so there is no need to buy add-on CDs containing new worlds. There will be one instance of the game universe. This means that every player is in the same universe and can potentially visit any other player in the game. The game engine forms its foundation on a complex set of artificial intelligence routines which allow it both to adapt to each player and to provide for convincing NPCs and physics simulations. |
